留學(xué)加拿大語言考試雅思口語高頻中式表達(dá)這些都是錯(cuò)的

加拿大語言考試中，很多同學(xué)在雅思口語考場上說出的中式表達(dá)，也許不完全影響考官的理解，但阻礙了我們有效地提高口語水平和雅思口語分?jǐn)?shù)。

It makes me relax

譯為：使我放松

中式：It makes me improve my English.使我提高英語

注：It makes me+形容詞，使我…但使役動(dòng)詞make后加動(dòng)詞時(shí)要小心，有時(shí)有強(qiáng)迫某人做某事的含義。

所以正確的幾種說法是：

It makes me feel relaxed.（makes me feel relaxed比起makes me relaxed更地道）

It allows me to relax/unwind.

It helps/enables me to improve my English.

On the one hand…

on the other hand…

譯為：一方面…另一方面…加拿大雅思IELTS

這個(gè)表達(dá)，看似沒有問題，遞進(jìn)關(guān)系，但實(shí)際上前后的觀點(diǎn)應(yīng)該是相反的，而不是遞進(jìn)的。

所以表達(dá)遞進(jìn)觀點(diǎn)，可以用：

Also，In addition，F(xiàn)urthermore這樣的表達(dá)。

錯(cuò)誤例句：

On the one hand,I worked very hard at this internship.On the other hand,I have also gone to an excellent school.

正確例句：

On the one hand,ice cream is delicious.On the other hand,it is very fattening.

Improve my work/study efficiency

提高學(xué)習(xí)效率是不可以這么說的！

正確的說法：

Making detailed plans allows me to work efficiently.

He is very efficient/studious on the job.

They spend their time wisely.

They are very organized and proactive.

Have a rest

這是一個(gè)大家都說，但是不正確的表達(dá)。Rest常用于時(shí)間較久/臥床的休息。

表達(dá)短暫的休息，我們可以說take a break/relax/unwind/have a breather/recharge my batteries.

On the weekend,I often stay at home to take a break/relax/unwind/have a breather/recharge my batteries

Delicious

其實(shí)delicious的使用頻率在母語者中很低。

正確的說法：

It tastes so good/awesome/amazingly good!

This is tasty/yummy/delectable/scrumptious/addictive.

Besides

Besides另外，常用于兩個(gè)遞進(jìn)的觀點(diǎn)之間，廣泛用于口語和寫作之中。但是你一定不知道在母語者看來，besides后面的觀點(diǎn)往往是不重要的，不充分的理由。

所以表達(dá)遞進(jìn)觀點(diǎn)時(shí)，用As well/In addition/Also這樣的連詞更準(zhǔn)確。

正確的說法：

I know I shouldn’t have bought a new phone,but I really liked this one.Besides,it was 5%off.（5%的打折并不是買這個(gè)手機(jī)得決定性因素）

I worked at a great company that trained me well.As well/In addition/Also,I was the leader of a successful team.(后者：我是很強(qiáng)的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)者是重要的觀點(diǎn))

Have a try

這個(gè)是chinglish的典型代表了，可以理解含義，但是感覺怪怪的。表達(dá)嘗試我們可以用：give it a try/try my hand at it/try it/give it a shot

正確例句：

Although painting is not right up my alley,I would like to give it a try/try my hand at it/try it/give it a shot.

It adds joys to my life

譯為：它給我的生活增添樂趣

It adds spice to my life

表示豐富生活

It always brightens/makes my day/week.

劃重點(diǎn)：

make one‘s day讓某人的一天開心

Listening to a variety of music spices up my life.

劃重點(diǎn)：spice up給…增添趣味

It breaks up the monotony/daily grind.

劃重點(diǎn)：daily grind日常瑣事

It let me…

常被用來表達(dá)“…使/讓我能夠…”

中式：Travelling let me have new experiences.

注：let在這里并不準(zhǔn)確，雖然let有許可/讓的含義，但僅用于號(hào)召某人做他已經(jīng)有計(jì)劃去做的事情。

在我們解釋一件事情對(duì)另一個(gè)事情的推動(dòng)作用，

正確示例：

Traveling abroad allows meto have new experiences.

Reading magazines allows people to have new insights.

實(shí)際上，有時(shí)候我們絞盡腦汁說出來的英文，母語者可能用很簡單的詞匯就可以準(zhǔn)確地道的表達(dá)，所以用詞不在難、不在高級(jí)復(fù)雜，要用的準(zhǔn)確，才事半功倍。
